Zell am See - the summer!
Less than 100 years ago Zell am See was still considered a market village. It only earned the right to call itself a city on 24 January 1928. Today the picturesque little town has roughly 9,900 inhabitants. The central location in the Großglockner road ensured that Zell am See enjoyed economic importance early in its history.
